Under-desk power units are available in a range of socket lengths, typically from 2 to 6 outlets. Sockets are individually protected with either 3.1amp or 5amp fuse protection either with a replaceable or resettable fuse. Sockets are usually housed under the desktop in cable tray. These modules are best suited for electronic equipment which requires a permanent connect such as monitors. Units can be unswitched, individually switch or feature a master switch. Modules can also be supplied with a RCBO. All under desk power modules will require a starter lead and may also have an un-fused in-line 3 pin out socket.
